Educational Qualifications and Experience:
- Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsel Posts:
(i) Practice in Criminal Law for at least 10 years.
(ii) Excellent oral and written communication skills.
(iii) Excellent understanding of criminal law.
(iv)Thorough understanding of ethical duties of a defense counsel.
(v) Ability to work effectively and efficiently with others with capability to lead.
(v) Must have handled at least 30 criminal trials in Sessions Courts.
(vi) Knowledge of computer system, preferable.
(vii) Quality to lead the team with capacity to manage the office.
- Deputy Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsel Posts:
(i) Practice in Criminal law for at least 7 years.
(ii) Excellent understanding of criminal law,
(iii) Excellent oral and written communication skills,
(iv) Skill in legal research.
(v) Thorough understanding of ethical duties of defense counsel.
(vi) Ability to work effectively and efficiently with othels.
(vii) Must have handled at least 20 criminal trials in Sessions Coutts,
(viii) IT Knowledge with proficiency in work.

Technical Assistant: BCA with 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade from a recognized university OR, B.Sc. with 1 (one) year PG Diploma in Computer Science/Application from any recognized university with 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade OR, Diploma Holder from Polytechnic in Computer Electronics & Telecommunications with Science/Engineering or 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade from a recognized institution.
Stenographer: Candidate must have passed Higher Secondary examination from any recognized Board/Council/ University. Candidate should Diploma/Certificate Stenography/Shorthand ITI/Polytechnic/any other institute.
Office Assistant: Graduate in any discipline with knowledge of Computer.
Driver: Minimum Class VIII pass, Must hold valid professional driving license issued by the competent authority to drive LMV/ Four wheel vehicle for not less than 5 years.
Office Peon: Minimum Class VIII pass but below HSSLC. A candidate who has passe HSSLC shall be ineligible for the post.
Working Experience:
Technical Assistant: BCA / B.Sc. candidates must have at least 1 (one) year working experience from a reputed institution/organization OR Polytechnic candidate at least 2 (two) years working experience from a reputed institution/organization.
Salary:
Technical Assistant: Rs.26,000/- per Month
Stenographer: Rs.20,000/- per Month
Office Assistant: Rs.18,000/- per Month
Driver: Rs.15,000/- per Month
Office Peon: Rs.12,000/- per Month
